31st March
We have been in Market Harborough show
Alfie (GB*Nandinakatts Simply Red) got his second CAP(2) on Sunday, the nomination and went to become Best in Show male neuter!!!. He was best of the neuter males but lost the BIV to his aunt Jazz (GIP GB*Jotunkatts Mountain Lily) who also got the nomination and became Best in Show female neuter, and unanimus Best neuter in show against Alfie. We believe in keeping it in the family ;-).
Both of the girls, Erin (GB*Nandinakatts Sugababe) and Shakira (GB*Nandinakatts Shakira), got CAC on Sunday, and they were called for the nominations receiving wonderful comments but being told that with just over 10 month old they need a bit more growing up to do. Shakira had to wait for the junior to do the best in variety as she was left as best adult, but she lost the BIV against a lovely 6-10 boy.
On Saturday the best in show neuter male was Alex (Chulillo Miyoda*GB) who is half brother of our litter as his dad is also GIC K-2 Chogori La Peyre.
As well on Saturday we got a very special visit: Alfie was here together with Alex and Colorina.

25th February
5th February
Some pics added below and in show results pages.
26th January
We have been to a show on Sunday featuring the Annual Norwegian Forest Special and we could not come back home more happy.
GB*Nandinakatts Sash! In his last show in England before going to live in Canada was Ex1 out of four very lovely cats and BIV. He lost nomination for main Best in Show against a lovely Ragdoll but was nominated for the Special. He is becoming a very lovely young man.
We want to Congratulate and thank Mia and Maria Shearwood (Miyoda Cattery) for showing him always in lovely condition.
Alfie (GB*Nandinakatts Simply Red) was as well Ex1 but lost nominations for special, main show and BIV against a lovely female NFO.
Same as his brother he is getting rather large and a soppy boy. He was licking noses as usual ;-).
We want to congratulate and thank Cecilia Macleod for show him always in lovely condition.
Erin (GB*Nandinakatts Sugababe) was as well Ex1 and got the nomination for the special and Best in Show going on to win Best Norwegian Forest Junior 2009 against an incredible gorgeous panel that included her brother!!. Erin was award for that with the Selkcahcats Memorial Trophy donated by our friends of Selkcahcats Cattery.
Shakira (GB* Nandinakatts Shakira) was Ex2 after 20 minutes of hard job of the judge. I wouldn't like to choose between the two neither! ;-)
...and last but no means least Jazz (GIP GB* Jotunkatts Mountain Lily) got her fourth CAPE (now CAPs) and was nominated for both special and main show becoming unanimous Best Norwegian Forest Female Neuter 2009 and Best in show Neuter beating the male neuter again!! That was a very emotional moment for us as she brought home the “Jotunkatts Nandina Memorial Trophy" and obviously that had a very big sentimental value for us.
Erin, Shakira and Alfie did each 1 side class:
Erin got 3rd in Members
Alfie got 2nd in a enormous side class of Kittens
Shakira was 1st in Breeders
We are reeeeeally proud as there was 215 cats, 110 Norwegian Forest in catalogue.
Unfortunately Amelia (GB*Jotunkatts Amelia) was heavily calling and that many males was too much for her so she had to be withdrawn. She will now be retired to hopefully become a mummy for the second time. More information in plans.
15th January
Alfie is growing lovely and we can't wait to see him again, you can see a couple of new pictures of him in his page.
We have added to their pages new pictures of Erin and Shakira 7 month old.
We have some exciting plans.
7th January
We have very sad news:
Yesterday, we had to rush Daisy to the vets as she was having serious problems with her breathing. Our vets did all they could, but Daisy has now gone, to rest peacefully with Molly.
The vet found a tumor in her chest, which was obviously the problem.
The only consolation is she was playing and happy until yesterday morning.
Love you always Daisy.xx
21st December
Some pictures taken by Robert Fox at Rugby of Jazz
7th December
Three in a row
They all got a mad session and enjoy the cold in the garden except myself ;-).
I'll be including some more pictures of the Rugby show as soon as I can.
2nd December
What a weekend we had in Rugby!!!
We had a very emotional show as our Jazz (GIP GB*Jotunkatts Mountain Lily) was voted Best in Show overall for Category II on Sunday!!!
…having both days won Best in Show Neuter, and even beating the BIS Neutered Male on both days!
Thank you for all the congratulations, it was a truly special moment as all the cats in there where rather impressive.
Marie Rihova having a love moment with Jazz ;-)
Four of the kittens from our very first litter were at the show both days too, and made us very proud:
GB*Nandinakatts Sash! got ex1 both days; and on Sunday he got the BIV against the adults, and also the Nomination (NOM) against his sister Shakira.
Big Congratulations to Maria and specially to Mia of Miyoda Cattery for the results of this handsome boy.
GB*Nandinakatts Sash!
GB*Nandinakatts Simply Red (aka Alfie) got ex1 both days; and on Saturday he got BIV (3-10). Alfie lost the NOM against a very impressive Birman.
Big Congratulations to Cecilia for the results of this handsome boy.
GB*Nandinakatts Simply Red "Alfie"
GB*Nandinakatts Shakira got her ex1 both days; and won the Nomination on Saturday against her brother Sash!
It was really nice see brother and sister "fighting" for the NOM both days!!
GB*Nandinakatts Shakira
GB*Nandinakatts Sugababe (aka Erin) got ex1 on Saturday, but on Sunday’s judge preferred the 9 month junior, so Erin got ex2 on the Sunday.
The judge on Saturday was unsure of her colour, he suggested maybe she is a Black Silver Tabby afterall, so unfortunately he did not feel he could Nominate her despite he really liked her and dedicated loads of compliments.
She will need another colour assessment when she is a bit older, as she is just over 6 months old now.
GB*Jotunkatts Amelia attended to her first show since having babies and having recovered from her furball nightmare; she seemed quite happy grooming her girls in the pen, and was very relaxed.
She received very good comments and reports from the judges on both days; but was not in her best condition to be given the ex1.
Mother and Son saying each other hello
To our surprise, she still remembered her baby boys; and was chirruping and even trying to lick them through the bars ;)
On Saturday, Amelia's sister GB* Jotunkatts Intrigue got the ex1 and also Best In Variety.
It was quite a "family event" at the Best in Show (BIS) on Sunday, as in there were IC GB*Tuulikki Luonnotar (Cezanne) who is mother of the two neuters that won the BIS (GIP GB*Jotunkatts Mountain Lily & GB*Jotunkatts Twilight), and also the grandmother of our Sash!
Congratulations to Anne and Maria (breeder and owner respectively) of IC Praline la Peyre*E, who received ex1, BIV and NOM on both days; and on Sunday she was BIS Female Adult.
She is a cat that gives me goose bumps, and to me is one of the most beautiful NFO’s I have ever seen! We have a special bond with her, as we had her for a few days before bringing her from Spain to the Miyoda Cattery, UK.
…and of course, she is related with our first litter!
(photographs courtesy of Robert Fox)
Congratulations as well to all of our friends who’s cats did very well over the weekend.
I'll be adding individual results and a few more pictures as soon as I've got time.
24 November
We have received some pictures of Viking 5 months old. He continues growing lovely and weighs over 4kgs. We are very happy with his development and want to thank his owners Adie, Sylvie and Luca for looking after him soo well.
Our first litter is today 6 months old, time soon goes but we are very happy with the way they are growing and we feel fortunate to share our life with the two girls.
I have added some of the results of the tests done to Amelia and the girls into their individual pages.
Being all ok we'll be attending Rugby next weekend, as always it will be time to see and enjoy our friends and see all those lovely cats ;-)
17th November
Finally our lovely Amelia is coming back into condition after a few months of recovery ;-)
10th November
We had a fantastic day out in the Winner Show 2008
Shakira and Erin (photograph courtesy of Robert Fox)
Jazz did so well, she insisted on doing her impression of a ball again! and being all shy, still managed to get her 1st CAPE.
She lost the NOM against a Maine Coon, but she was Nominated for the Norwegian Forest Cat Special trophy; which was very unexpected...
Again she would not pose, was half-asleep with her eyes barely open! ...and was unanimously voted for as Best Norwegian Forest Cat Female Neuter!!! ...we believe this says a lot about how "good" she really is :-)
Alfie got his 3rd Ex1, BIV T and nomination for the special but lost the nomination against a lovely siberian. He got an excellent report and charmed everyone same as his sisters with their lovely temperaments.
Thank you Cecilia for have and show him always in a fantastic condition.
Erin and Shakira got both Ex1, lovely reports as well and Erin this time was call for Nominations as she prefered her to Shakira and lost them against a gorgeous male that will became a deserved BIS 3-6 and best Norwegian Forest kitten in the special.
Shakira couldn't have BIV as no enough cats but Erin got BIV 3-10, they behave fantastic and we couldn't be more proud of them.
1st November
We have a very excitement Sunday ahead as it is here the National Winner Show and this year some of the babies of our first ever litter will be able to attend as they qualified for this big event. We couldn't go to the World Show as we planned because our Amelia is still in the proccess of recovering, for this reason she won't be able to go tomorrow and will have to wait until next year ;-)
As well we are looking forward see again all of our friends and of course their lovely cats. I hope to have some time and get some pictures.
The girls have a couple of pictures new in their indiviual pages just over 5 months old.
I have included some results for Enya in 2007, I'll do this years when their appear in the page.
8th October
Three of our babies attended their second show in Edenbridge and made us so proud!!!
Erin got Ex 1 and BIV total against a very impressive adult and junior cat. Our sweetheart Alfie went with his new owners and got his second Ex1 and Shakira despite being changed of colour again managed to get EX1 and almost the nomination that went to a lovely Maine Coon.
This means our entire litter has now qualified for the Winner Show, we are so proud that we could burst ;-).
The girls travelled by train for the first time, behaved extraordinary good and had a girly weekend together with aunties Zurel and Intrigue and their nanny Fee ;-).
Thank you so much Cecilia and Norman, owners of Alfie, for rescuing us on Sunday or we might not have made it to the show.
We enjoyed seeing all our friends and we are looking forward to the next show ;-).
Some more pictures.
Happy birthday to Daisy and Maisy!, the big set of sisters of the house are 12 today!!
29th September
I was able to meet Draco in the fur whilst I was in Spain earlier this month. Apart from his fantastic temperament, he is a very impressive young man!
We are very excited about Lucia and Fabio's new addition; as everybody knows I love the S'Restless cats! and we feel honoured that it is in our plans, that Draco will meet one of our girls, being all well, when he is old enough ;-)
8th September
Viking Cat Club Show, Leeds, 7th September 2008
What a lovely day we had at the cat show!!!
Apart from enjoying seeing our friends again; we took our whole litter of kittens for their very first show, and they made us soo proud!
They got Best litter (Dietmar Sargurski) with absolutely wonderful comments about them.
Here are the individual results ...
GB*Nandinakatts Simply Red (Dietmar Sargurski) Class 12, 3-6 Month Kitten Male- Ex1, BIV
"Alfie" did so well to get his Ex1, but against an older kitten he lost the Nomination. He got a wonderful report, and the judge said he will be ready to have the NOM in a couple of weeks' time ;-)
GB*Nandinakatts Sugababe (Anette Kampf) Class 12, 3-6 Month Kitten Female- Ex2 (3)
It was really close for "Erin", but despite the judge saying she adored our teddy bear! with both cats in her hand she decided to give Ex1 to a really lovely girl; and Erin had her a well deserved Ex2.
GB*Nandinakatts Santana (Anette Kampf) Class 12, 3-6 Month Kitten Male- Ex1 (2), BIV
Our big boy "Viking" had a change of colour whilst being judged! but despite being transferred to another table, he still managed do really well, getting his Ex1 :-).
He then went on to beat the lovely female (who got Ex1 against Erin) for the BIV.
He lost the Nomination against his own brother Sash! but that was another lovely moment, holding the two boys together and the judge having to decided which one would get it!
GB*Nandinakatts Sash! (Anette Kampf) Class 12, 3-6 Month Kitten Male- Ex1 (4), BIV-TOTAL, NOM
I never expected from a gorgeous class like this, that Sash! would get Ex1 ;-). It was a really emotional moment as we listened to the incredible comments about him; particulary about his boning which we were told "is just out of this world for a 3 month old kitten" ;-).
Sash! beat his brother for the Nomination, so really we would have won either way!
In the Best In Show, the three kittens all got a vote each. Alva Udin got the casting vote, but unfortunately she didn't choose Sash!
Still, it was a fantastic result for him overall.
GB*Nandinakatts Shakira (Anette Kampf) Class 12, 3-6 Month Kitten Female- Ex2 (6)
Another very large and incredible beautiful class here. Shakira did really well to end up in 2nd place, especially being the youngest kitten! ;-).
It was a shame not to get an ex1, but out of 6 kittens we can't complain really!
As you can imagine we are over the moon, having listened to all the nice comments about all of our babies.
They all enjoyed the show, which is the main thing for us; and they received loads of cuddles from all our friends :-). We want to thank everyone who helped us out, with five kittens we didn't have enough hands! We wouldn't have managed without you, you all know who you are! xx
5th September
Enya and Jazz have some new pictures in their galeries
All the babies will be leaving this weekend we want to wish Alfie, Sash!, Viking and their new owners the best of the luck in their new lifes.
Shakira and Erin are staying with us and both got their new pages ;-).

18th July
We have changed the email address
The kittens status is updated
After days of worrying sick for our baby Amelia things are looking a lot better. Our vets treated her the best they could but it came to the point that they couldn't find the cause of the problem, and we didn't have time on our side to wait for more results so she was sent to Davies veterinary specialist hospital (Hertfordshire), and spent a whole day there, where they did a huge list of tests and ultrasound.
On Sunday she vomited an incredibly huge fur ball that surely can go into the Guiness record book, and even our vets has said that it was the biggest furr ball they had ever seen, and has caused much amazament amongst them all ;-).
Thank goodness after that she has picked up immensly. We really thought we were going to lose her.
All her tests have come back negative and normal so hopefully even if she is a bit undignifed because they got carried away with the shaving, she is happy, recovering and playing happily with her beloved babies, and most important back home with us ;-).
We want to thank everyone for they support in these hard days.
Our friends Val and Chris has got a very nice webpage, click here to have a look.
6th JULY
Simply thinking in having a nap
The babies are 6 weeks yesterday and what we can say..they are all lovely. They are very loving little babies and very active monkeys, they obviously have that in the genes ;-).
They are some pictures in the individual page taken yesterday.
Sugababe and Shakira
30th JUNE
I'm back and finally able to update the page. The babies are now 5 weeks old and of course very different of when I left a few days ago ;-).
All are able to run like speed F1, like their mother and aunties at that tender age and they are eating. Still they manage to have some snacks from mummy but as she is very happy doing it we leave that way.
14th JUNE
As I'll be out of the country for a few days it is more than likely that this will be last update until I'm back ;-). The babies of course have Dave and Sue as a dedicated second mummy ;-)
They are 3 weeks today and they are starting to get into their feet and wobble about, one more "professional" than others...;-). They start to get out of the basket despite Amelia effords to keep them all in.
8th JUNE
The babies are two weeks and what can I say? They are lovely little souls.
They are starting to listen us and they purr already quite loud ;-). Sugababe almost is able to walk, very clumsy obviously, but so funny to watch. Simply is almost there as well and the other three are taking their times, despite they look to you now when we talk to them. If they get the "soppy" temperament of their parents we should have very laid back little babies.
Amelia is a very dedicated mother, she was in a rush to became mummy but we can see now she is really enjoying her babies.
Big congratulations to Maria Shearwood of Miyoda cattery for the fantastic results of Newbury show. Alex ( Chulillo Miyoda GB*) was BIS junior and Best Category II. This not only pleased us as friends of Maria but also because his daddy is K-2 who has sired our litter.
Two lovely brother and sister

After many sleepless nights, our first litter has finally arrived! :-)
We will put pictures of Amelia & Cuddles' babies on our website soon (it was a Lonnng night and now we all need to rest!)
Thank goodness Firoza was here for help and support during the birth; there were times when we were all stressed out, but you kept us calm :-)
Thankyou so much Fee, we would have been lost without you! xx
5th MAY
I couldn't resist taking this picture today of Jazz "supporting" Amelia ;-).
It's very nice see how they cuddle each other and the "big" sisters seem to be very happy of becoming aunties.

20th APRIL
Amelia (GB* Jotunkatts Amelia) and Cuddles (GIC K2 Chogori La Peyre *ES) are expecting kittens!!, (of course all being well) towards the end of May.
We are all very excited as Amelia got very impatient to be a mummy and this will be our first litter in our cattery.
This picture of Jazz was taken by Bob Fox in Bognor after winning the Best in Show, I have included another pic of this day in her show results. Needless to say with all this news we are over the moon ;-)
31th MARCH
After 6 long weeks Jotunkatts Intrigue is back home!! She has been found and returned to her owners. With all the hard work of loads of people to find little Intrigue, this news couldn't make us more happy.
We have been at the Bognor Regis show this weekend, it was a really calm and nice venue for the cats and for us. Amelia (Jotunkatts Amelia) was Ex2 as her condition has really dropped because of all the calling, but she still managed to get a nice report and enjoy as usual. She will have now a break to hopefully become a mummy ;-).
Jazz (Jotunkatts Mountain Lily) was noticeably more relaxed getting her 3rd CAGPIB, the nomination and Best in Show Female Neuter!! we are very proud of our girls!!
Jasmine almost became Best in Category 2 :-) It was a tie, but she lost by the casting vote in a draw; and a really handsome Maine Coon male got it. Well done Jasmine!!
I've added a couple of pictures in results.
Many Congratulations to Miyoda Cattery as the "boyfriend" of Amelia , K2 Chogori La Peyre became Grand International Champion yesterday.
It was a very interesting day for me (Clara) too, as I helped out with stewarding on the Best in Show panel. I really enjoyed the experience ;-).

12th FEBRUARY
29th JANUARY
We have been in Milton Keynes International cat Show and we came back with our first ever International Premier. This show is very emotional for us as is featuring the annual Norwegian Forest Special and for second year the best female neuter has received the "Jotunkatts Nandina Memorial Trophy". It couldn't come home but I'm really happy with who got it this year, a well deserved trophy for Angel.
Anyway we couldn't be more proud as both Jazz and Amelia did very well and got nominated for special and for the Best in Show. Considering there was 88 forest cats (213 cats in total) in the catalogue is not very bad?
We enjoyed the day with our friends and all those beautiful cats which is the main reason for us to do these shows, and any other success of our beloved pets is an added bonus ;).
You can see the complete results in the individual pages of Amelia and Jazz.
Amelia enjoying her medal ;-)
21th JANUARY
My camera and me are arriving to some sort of undertanding ;-), so a few new pictures of Amelia 9 month old of age, Enya and Jazz.

Another year more and I know the page needs some updates but still no much time for doing it. At least there are some new pictures of Amelia and Enya. Welcome to Jotunkatts family P*Ilion de Lingen " Hedera"
I give this lovely young boy a very special welcome, as I had a very active part in him being here. In the end of 2006 and knowing the desire of Na'il of a white boy I showed them Hedera and it was love first sight!! In May 2007 we all went to Portugal to meet him in the fur.He has a wonderful temperament even when you first meet him, as well as the very nice type and I'm glad to have helped for a cat like him to come to the UK.
It was fantastic be there with Filipe and Mira and meet the rest of the cats.
Here you see some pics of the day, I couldn't include all because as you can suspect there are loads...I was in my element! ;-)

Obviously there are some buttons in kittens that won't be working until next year ;-).
The other day we went to visit Firoza and family, and had to have a play with the Jotunkatts kittens! Dave almost managed to bring Tanjoh home in his pocket ;-). Although they are all absolutely lovely, the little twin is just a "teddy bear"
